Our Commitment

At SiBI, integrity is not a policy, it is a practice. Every service, program, and engagement is guided by an unwavering commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, and accountability. This Ethics & Integrity Charter outlines the principles that govern our work.

1. Independence and Firewalls

SiBI operates through four distinct, autonomous service areas: Advisory, Institute, Giveback, and Media. Each area is firewalled from the others to ensure:

• Confidentiality of client information across service areas
• Objectivity and impartiality in advisory engagements
• No cross-subsidisation or conflicts of interest between areas
• Clear ethical boundaries that protect all stakeholders

2. Confidentiality

We hold all client and partner information in strict confidence. Information disclosed to one service area is not shared across SiBI's internal boundaries without explicit consent. We adhere to applicable data protection regulations and contractual confidentiality obligations.

3. Conflicts of Interest

SiBI maintains a rigorous conflicts-of-interest framework. All team members are required to:

• Disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest promptly
• Recuse themselves from engagements where a conflict exists
• Refuse gifts, favors, or compensation that could compromise objectivity
• Decline engagements that would create divided loyalties

4. Transparency

We communicate honestly about our capabilities, experience, and limitations. Our value reciprocity model ensures that services are delivered with clear expectations, fair pricing, and no hidden terms. We encourage clients and partners to ask questions and challenge assumptions.

5. Quality and Rigor

Every SiBI deliverable, whether an advisory report, training program, or media production, is held to the highest standard of quality. We ground our work in evidence, structured analysis, and real-world experience. We do not sacrifice rigor for convenience.

6. Respect and Inclusion

SiBI is committed to fostering an environment of mutual respect and inclusion. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic. We actively seek diverse perspectives in our work and partnerships.

7. Environmental and Social Responsibility

Our Giveback arm reflects our belief that insight must serve. We are committed to environmental stewardship, community development, youth mentoring, and sustainable livelihoods, not as afterthoughts, but as integral expressions of our mission.

8. Reporting Concerns

If you believe that SiBI has acted in a manner inconsistent with these principles, or if you have any ethical concerns, we encourage you to report them. All reports will be handled with discretion and without retaliation.

9. Review and Accountability

This charter is reviewed annually by the Founder and President. All SiBI team members are expected to familiarise themselves with these principles and to conduct themselves accordingly. Violations of this charter are taken seriously and may result in removal from engagements or termination of affiliation.
